Jade offers private lessons from her studio in Portslade. She teaches pupils of all ages and lessons are tailored to each students needs and desires. She has a holistic approach, encompassing all aspects of musicality, and students learn to express themselves whilst building a secure technical foundation, learning music theory and developing their aural skills. A typical lesson will cover cello technique from beginner to advanced, anatomy and physiology of playing encompassing Alexander Technique, musical expression and performance through repertoire study, guidance for practice and how to practice, music notation and sight-reading, theory and aural training.
