ABOUT
Jade Woodhouse is a composer, cellist and vocalist. Since 2017 she has been writing music tailored for directors, producers, and industry professionals. Her work has been featured in the Netflix series 'The Surrogacy', 'Matki Pingwinów", on the BBC and in Danish Koda Films.
Her most recent compositions explore dynamic writing for real woodwind and strings, and is due to be released by Liftmusic in 2025. In 2024 she collaborated with producer Lincoln Jaeger and violinist Nicola Bates on the album Neoclassical Trailers in addition to contributing music to Liftmusic labels, Factual and Poke. Previous releases include 'Textures One', in which she explores the themes of weather and light, and her debut album "Cello Vision", an uplifting collaboration of classically inspired cello & electronica co-written with producer Paul Sandrone.
Jade studied music at The Royal College of Music, Royal Holloway and Trinity Laban Conservatoire where she was a recipient of the Leverhulme Trust and Joan Andrews Scholarships. She plays on a William Dearlove cello c1810 and a Bridge Golden Tasman electro-acoustic cello.
She is currently working on several top secret bespoke projects, including her own album as an independent artist.
